The School of Dance
In 1999, following nearly a decade of professional performance and international exposure, Chandana Wickramasinghe founded the dance school, creating a structured dance institution in Sri Lanka. What began as a modest studio with four students has since developed into one of the country’s most respected and influential dance organisations.
Chandana’s vision was to address gaps in Sri Lanka’s dance sector, providing long-term mentorship, career pathways, and continuity. Operating through 7 branches in:

Chandana and the Dancer's Guild
From within this growing student body, Chandana personally handpicked and rigorously trained over 100 exceptional dancers to form a dedicated guild and performance troupe. This ensemble has gone on to represent the organisation both locally and internationally, serving as cultural ambassadors through high-level stage productions, touring performances, and prestigious collaborations worldwide.
